Chadwick "Chavi" Boswell – The Shiny Darks
Chadwick “Chavi” is a Louisiana native born March, 1979. He started playing drums at the age of 3. Through the years he has worked himself into a professional drummer/percussionist. He blossomed his playing style in clubs, special events, and live stage performances touring around North America and South America.
Randy Barach
Randy Barach was born on October 26, 1972 in Burbank, California. He studied classical piano from 1980-1988 and was also an active vocalist studying under Mary Rago. In 1989 Randy discovered a passion for drums. He quickly began honing his craft and soon found himself working as both a live performer and a studio session drummer.
Charles “Stix” Taylor (a.k.a. The Big Tease)
“Stix” Taylor is the great nephew of “Queen of the Blues” multi Grammy award-winning singer, the late Koko Taylor. He played in her band after becoming a professional musician early in his career. His skills and talent as a drummer allowed him to perform at the annual Chicago Blues Fest, Chicago Bud Billiken Parade, Mississippi Blues Fest and other countless events and venues abroad.
Kevin Prince - Drummer101
Kevin has been playing drums since the age of 11 and has over 12 years teaching experience. Although heavily rock-influenced by bands such as Nirvana and Foo Fighters, Kevin has a wide style range of many other genres of music.
Cliff Porter (a.k.a. Cliff Notes) - Jelly Bread
Porter has never taken lessons, but has studied at the School of Sight and Sound, meaning if he can see it or hear it, he can play it! Porter said, “Growing up playing in church, you had to know how to listen to the music for changes all the time, because The Spirit will change the natural flow of a song at any moment”, so Porter has always played with that type of awareness throughout his career. He was section leader through high school, even though he couldn’t read the music, he explains it as God-given talent.
